JASON MCNAMARA (Writer / Letterer / Publisher)
Greetings, I’m Jason McNamara, a freelance writer with twenty years of experience working in different mediums, but my heart will always belong to Comic Books and Graphic Novels. In 2003, I founded Polite Strangers as a publishing imprint for myself and my collaborators. Since then, I’ve also been published by Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Stela Comics, AIT/Planet Lar, and Cognito Comics.
My original graphic novel titles include Past Tense, Ghost Band, Creepers, The Rattler, The Cicada, The SUCKER series, Nocturnal Commissions, Short-Hand, The Martian Confederacy series, Continuity, Less Than Hero, and the Xeric Award-winning First Moon.
I’ve also been fortunate to work as a Creative Consultant for the Golden State Warriors, Lucasfilm, IMMI.IO, Relic Ticketing, Maximum Games, and Crimson Consulting. I am currently teaching comic book illustration and writing courses at Pacific Northwest College of Art.
My dream project would be to write the graphic novel sequel to Halloween 3: Season of the Witch. No, really.
